About Jenny at Nutrition 101

I am a registered nurse still working in Intensive Care and General Practice. I joined general practice after nearly 3 decades of seeing people admitted to the unit with more chronic disease than ever.

The transition into GP land was to work in Preventative Medicine, to find that good nutrition advice for those with chronic disease was hard to get, unless you had a condition that needed a dietitian.

This combined with my own health issues led me on a journey to improve my metabolic health.

This meant that the brain fog cleared, the energy returned, Blood pressure came down by heaps AND 15Kg of weight loss.

After spending the covid years studying Nutrition and the science of how food impacts metabolic health, I felt complelled to share this information with you all. Then Nutrition 101 evolved.

More recently I explored womens fertility and am Quailfied as a Natrual fertility Coach.

The aim is to improve fertilitiy health and optimize chances of conceiving, OR reducing chances of pregnancy without hormonal supplements. The use of diet modification and charting enables us to highlight the most fertile window.

At Nutrition 101, we believe that health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of physical, mental, and social wellbeing. We strive to help our clients achieve this state through personalized plans that focus on nutrition, and lifestyle coaching.

Continuous Glucose Monitor

Blood sugar and/or Ketone tester

If you have them, a copy of your most recent blood tests, like Lipid Panel, Cholesterol Levels, bring them in. You can also equip yourself with a Blood Pressure Monitor and Scales for you.

As a Registered Nurse and Registered Nutritionist, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in various areas of health and wellness. Together we will work towards your health goals. I believe in empowering our clients with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their own health and wellbeing.

Sessions

  • Our conversations will be 50 minutes each.

  • Online – using Microsoft Teams or Zoom

Consultation Times

  • Open Tues, Wed and Sat.

  • Closed Mon, Thur, Fri and Sun.
  • After Business Hours can be arranged.

Cost

  • $110 for the initial appointment,

  • $90 for subsequent appoitments.
  • Payable by EFT

A review of your Medical History and a discussion about your Health Goals will feature in the 1st session, with a few tips along the way.

A pre-consultation form  will be emailed prior to the 1st appointment
